Domaine d’Eugénie

Vosne-Romanée
  • 6 wines sold in over 30 countries
  • 12 acres

The Domaine d’Eugénie vineyard was born out of the acquisition of Domaine René Engel by the Artémis group in 2006. It is located in Vosne-Romanée, in the heart of Burgundy’s Côte-de-Nuits vineyards, which are spread over 16 acres and produces six different red wines.

The Domaine d’Eugénie produces six wines, under five labels, from Pinot noir grape variety: "Clos Vougeot", "Echezeaux" and "Grands Echezeaux" (three Grands Crus), "Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru", "Aux Brûlées", "Vosne-Romanée Villages" and "Clos d’Eugènie". The Clos d’Eugénie and the Vosne-Romanée Premier Cru began to convert to biodynamic agriculture in 2009 to improve balance between the soil, the vines and the environment, allowing for the full and unique flavour of the earth to flow through the wines. Major work has also been undertaken to develop a complete, state-of-the-art wine-making facility. The wines from Domaine d’Eugénie have acquired a great reputation among critics and connoisseurs and are successfully sold in over thirty countries.
