Since it was acquired by Artémis in 1998, this symbol of Breton football has been in the top league for 15 seasons in a row.
Finishing number 6 at the 2007-2008 season the Stade Rennais F.C. qualified for the Intertoto Cup, and then for the UEFA European Cup. This is the third time in the last four seasons that the Stade Rennais Football Club has taken part in European competitions.
Once again, young generation has the place of the honour since, for the third consecutive year, the National Technical Department of the French Football Federation has awarded the title of leading French training centre to the Stade Rennais training centre. At the same time, in June 2008, the Stade Rennais players won the Gambardella trophy, a truly youth Coupe de France.
Always concerned to provide its supporters with a comfortable and modern environment, the Stade Rennais F.C. continues to improve its facilities. Fully renovated in 2004, and considered to be one of the finest in France, the Stade de la route de Lorient is equipped, since this season, with two magnificent giant screens. An additional asset for offering quality entertainment.
